Older Honda CRX ?

Question

I'm looking to buy an older CRX.

Probably 1990 make or so.

Can anyone tell me their experience with the car?

How many people can you squeeze into the car?

I was never a fan of Hondas until I bought my first CRX (rex), it was a 89' Si and i bought it just to daily drive and to safe gas about 5 years ago. after a few months of driving and getting "skooled" on my honda by other friends thats when i realize hondas are kik ***... ever since then Ive owned nothing but hondas. 88-91 hatchbacks, 90-93 integra, 92-95 civic,94-01 integra,01-05 civic, u name ive been there, Ive owned all those body styles that I just mentioned.

I would sell or trade my hondas to get another better honda. my latest rex was an 88- HF, the lightest of the crx's. that bad boy was bone stock except for a drop and 15" wheels. it was giving me 35 mpg!

u can only fit 2 people in a rex, but i would fit up to 4 sometimes, lol..

sometimes u gotta do what u gotta do.

The japanesse version (the best) of the crx came with back seats and a glass top!!!!!!!!! and some other great extras...

but the back seats where so small that only children would fit perfect in them.

the best years of the crx to buy is 88-91. I would aslo buy the Si model, it has a few extra ponies on the motor and more attractive interior and a sunroof.

all  the other models are base models, but have great mileage.

Cant go wrong with a rex, they never loose their value and popularity.

I rated the above answer as a good answer.. I had a 91 HF got great gas mileage... Got about 300-400 miles on a full tank. :) Wasn't really "fast" but it was very reliable and got me from here to there with over 250,000 miles on it.

As he said it only has 2 seats... but I have 7 people in mine once... Only 2 had seat belts.. but ya know... whatever works :)
