We have a 1990 model Kenmore side by side, bought new. Last year, we had a frozen defrost drain line fixed due to the icemaker not filling, and the fridge being warm. Freezer has always worked. A Sears repairman "fixed" the problem (at a ridiculous cost, with no guarantee), but the icemaker NEVER again worked. We also replaced the seal. Now there is a "fuzzy" ice on the back wall of the freezer, and again, we are dealing with a warm fridge. I cleaned the ice buildup yesterday, but it is already starting back. Is this a failed defrost system, plugged defrost drain line, or what? Is it worth fixing this again, or should we shoot the dang thing. Never had any problems until last year. I really don't want a fridge for my Christmas gift....... Thanks.
