Older Vivitar 28mm Lens on New Nikon D50 Digital...

Question

I would like to be able to use my older Vivitar wide-angle 28mm lens on my new Nikon D50 Digital camera. The lens was used on an old Canon EF 35mm film camera that was stolen but, I still have the lenses.I understand that adapters are complex but, have heard that this is possible. Nobody in the stores seems to have a clue as to where to start.Are you aware of an adapter that would allow this to happen? I would be grateful if you are.Bob Kellner [e-mail]
