Older boyfriend meeting family?

I'm 21 and i've been dating a man for 3 years now we've gotten serious and he's proposed the only problem is that my family is very traditional and my fiance is 29 years older than me. I love him a lot and i know he's the one for me but then again i know my family won't approve and will probably disown me so basically it's down to choosing my family or my fiance but i don't know what to do.

It's time to have a frank talk with your family about this man, my sister is now married to a man 30 years older than she is, we didn't like it until my uncle looked at us and said one thing, "She dated guys her own age and she wasn't happy.  Wouldn't you rather see her with someone that makes her happy even if he is older or someone her own age that makes her miserable." They've been married 5 years now nd together for 7 years. Talk to your family they will come around to your way of thinking if you are truly happy.

maybe just give it time. if he loves you, tell him and he'll wait. your family will always be there for you no matter what and even though its your fiance, your family should be first. i wouldn't want to be disowned from my family, so just wait it out. Or tell your family what your thinking and considering so they know your trying to be honset. Be honest with both sides, and for some reason if things don't work out then everything hapends for a reason
