Our 9 year old cat has done a total turn around. She was a huricane Katrina cat and we took her in from a shleter two years ago. SInce then we added another girl cat to the picture and she seemed to be fine but kept to herself alittle more. 2 months ago we added a third cat and she has gone out of control since then. She and I have always had a great relationship but she has became very mad at both me and my fiance from deep bites during brushing to urinating on the carpet and pooping as well. Now its to the point where we cannot pick her up without her peeing on us. We lost our baby girl and getting rid of our other cats or her is not an option. ANy help would be great. (Also I forgot to mention she has always had a problem with peeing from day one, it used to be limited to when we would attempt to take her to the vet or out of the house she would pee as soon as we crossed the door well) She used to be cuddly and lovable and sleep with us nightly now we r lucky if we see her period. We hate to see her stay under the bed all the time so we bring her out and she pees on us. In addition she is long haired so every time she has an accident we need to bathe her which escaltes her anger toward us! Please help!

  1. Hi there... it sounds like your cat is very anxious and stressed.  You may want to discuss some options with your veterinarian for elimination and anxiety disorders.  Many cats have benefitted from anti-depressants/anxiety medications and different types of aversion/attraction therapies.  You can learn more about these from the following websites to present to your veterinarian:

Furthermore, you may like to consider contacting a feline behaviourist which could provide some insight that could be helpful.

    Feline behaviourists:

There are many more that your veterinarian may also know in your region.
