There was a game show from the early 60's (I think) where the host at the end said "Will the real so and so please stand up". What was the name of it? I'm thinking its I've Got a Secret, but I'm not sure about that at all. Thanks.

  8. It's "To Tell The Truth". It originally ran from 1956 to 1967 in primetime on CBS (a daytime version ran from 1962-67), hosted by Bud Collyer (radio's Superman). It was revived in 1969 in first-run syndication with Garry Moore ("I've Got A Secret") and later Joe Garigarola(sic) as host; this version ran until 1978. Two NBC daytime versions ran in 1980 and 1989 (this later one was hosted by Gordon Elliot, Lynn Swan and Alex Trebek respectively throughout its two-year run).

The most recent version was hosted by John O'Hurley (current Family Feud), which ran from 1999 to 2001 (this version is currently running on GSN weekday afternoons).

The "Will the real (contestant name) please stand up?" phrase is from this old-school classic game show.
