  1. I personally like older women with white or grey streaks to wear their hair long. I don't see why older women have to get boyish haircuts. When my hair goes white, I'm going to have fun playing with haircolor.

Go to a high end salon and get their advice.

  2. I am 53 and can relate to your problem.

After living in our bodies for so many years, I think most of us know somewhat what works for us as far as fashions.

I am tall, fit and slim and wear fashions that are both youthful but with a bit of older style to them.

I am not weathly but have invested in high end clothes because they fit better and have a better flow to them.

I wear allot of "Express" store slacks, youthful  but don't show flaws have some room in the legs and can mix and match with different tops.

best to hide what isn't so good looking anymore and show off what you have.

My hair is thin, so I am wearing it short and coloring it a red shade with some blonde in it.

Go to a good salon and talk to a stylist, makeup is also important. lighter natural shades. Go to a dept. store makeup counter and let them give you a make over and give you some tips.

  3. new port magazine is a great clothing line..check them out and ask for a catalog....they show fashions for all age groups and show you how to wear them....and with that you see real people  and they have real hair do's...check them out and have fun...they have great clothes....
