Oleg Kornaukhov tips CSKA Moscow to extend their lead by defeating Zenit St. Petersburg
Former CSKA Moscow defender, Oleg Kornaukhov, has revealed that the Army-Men need to work harder in order to defeat Zenit St. Petersburg and reclaim the Russian Premier League title.
The Moscow-based club failed to claim three points against FC Krasnodar in a League fixture by conceding a late equaliser at Trud stadium. The promising defender lamented the performance and insisted that the team need to perform a lot better in order to
beat the Meshki.
The Russian national bemoaned the strike force upfront by revealing that the Koni did not take their chances well and made some childish mistakes in defence.

Kornaukhov believes that the Armeytsy are ready to fight with Zenit and Dynamo Moscow in order to claim the Russian Championship title this season. The stopper admitted that Zenit are playing quality football at the moment under Luciano Spalletti.
Kornaukhov heaped praise on the Bomzhi defence by revealing that Zenit have a strong back line that can cause problem for out strikers.
“When big teams go head to head, it's always exciting. CSKA has the right time to extend the point difference to Zenith in order to feel more relaxed” The former Kuban Krasnodar player was quoted as saying.

“Perhaps he lacks match practice, but the he has a lot of experience and I think he deserves to play for Zenit. We may be not entirely comfortable with the defence of Petrograd, but I think we can manage.” Kornaukhov concluded.
CSKA Moscow are currently atop the league table and five points ahead of Zenit in the Russian Championship.
