FC Krasnodar defeated Lokomotiv Moscow by conceding a goal before halftime away from home. The Byki midfielder, Oleg Samsonov, has bemoaned the team spirit following their weak display at Lokomotiv stadium.
Krasnodar managed to pick six points from their last seven Russian Premier League encounters. Samsonov bemoaned the team performance against the Railway-Men and highlighted that the Byki are lacking team spirit at the moment.
The promising centre half explained that the Bychelona need some attacking reinforcements in order to score more goals. Samsonov revealed that the Byki tend to develop firm believe among themselves in order to get better in their upcoming tie against Zenit
St. Petersburg.
“We looked good but probably, at this moment we are lacking belief in ourselves. On the whole, played well and try to be better in our next game. We need only one thing, scoring. If we start scoring, things are going to be much easier.” the former FC Sportakademklub
Moscow player was quoted as saying.
Samsonov praised Lokomotiv performance by admitting that the Loki are a great club. Lokomotiv claimed the Russian Premier League title twice and won the Russian Cup five times.
“I still think that Lokomotiv is a top club, no secrets here. They play well in defence and attack. But the best out of us is yet to come.” The former Spartak Nalchik player concluded.
The former FC Khimki player revealed that Krasnodar are working hard to claim a decent spot on the league table under the leadership of Slavoljub Muslin. Samsonov admitted that he is ready to help the Russian club finish the season on a high after his transfer
from Krylia Sovetov samara.
The 23-Year-old admitted that the Muslim was desperate to claim a win against the Red-Greens following their humiliating defeat in front of their home crowd earlier this season. Krasnodar lost three points at home by conceding four goals and could score
only one themselves.
Samsonov assured the fans that the club is looking forward to cover their weaknesses and promised them that the team is going to display quality performance against the Bomzhi in their upcoming league tie.
