Olevia 242T 42" LCD HDTV - Suddenly No...

We bought a brand new Olevia 42" LCD HDTV in June, model #242T. We were watching a movie last night (DirecTV), when suddenly the picture went gray and started flickering. It looked a little like the static you see on regular TV's when there's no signal. The sound continued just fine.We turned the TV off, waited a few minutes, then turned it back on. Normally, the Olevia logo comes up, then the regular picture comes up. This time, all we got was gray flickering. No logo. Nothing. We unplugged the TV completely, waited about 20 minutes, and tried again. Same thing. The weird thing is that nothing else works, either. You can't change the input source. The buttons on the remote do nothing. Same for the buttons on the TV. On/off is the only thing that works.I don't think it could've been a power surge, because none of the other electronics were affected. Not even the two computers. Plus we've got everything on surge protectors. We can't call Olevia until tonight, but maybe someone has some suggestions in the meantime? We scrimped and saved to buy this TV as our 20th anniversary gift to ourselves, so we're totally bummed. :-( We did buy the extended warranty through Office Depot, but apparently it doesn't start until the manufacturer's warranty runs out. Hopefully Olevia will honor their warranty. I heard they were restructuring their company or something.
