Olive garden personality test?

so i have to go in tomorrow for a personality test for hostessing. you ever taken one? just curious.

ya, i took one at applebees..... it is a test with at least 100 questions maybe more... then you have to answer from strongly agree to stongly disagree.... alot of the questions are the same just reworded so they can see if you are a truthful and honest person primarily....

the questions are like.... if you found out a friend was stealing would you tell..... if someone is busy it is ok if they are rude.... ect ect....

Yes, I've taken them.  The best way to pass the test is to answer the test as if you are...a very flexible person regarding change in your life, you are never tired and are always upbeat, you have opinions but are willing to ignore them or keep them to yourself for the betterment of the team/business, stealing in anyway is wrong and you would report it (even if you were stealing to feed your children), drugs and heavy alcohol consumption is wrong and you would never do it or allow it in your life, and you never get angry.

Basically, you are a perfect person and you are totally supportive of the business and you have no personal needs/wants/desires.

Also, they do ask the same questions over again, they just reword them...make sure you answer the questions the same way every time.  These are lie indicator questions.  If you answer them differently they assume you're lying.

Personally, I think these tests are so stupid.  You have to score a certain point level or they won't hire you but to score that high you have to lie.

My favorite question on the Applebee's test is...

Is there a person that you would like to tell a thing or two to?

My answer for the test..."no".  My answer in real life...h**l YES!!!  

I've been with Applebee's for about 10 years so it's been a while since I've taken one of these tests.  I worked for Olive Garden before that.  They didn't have this test back then.  Good luck with it though.
