The only think I could think of was fresh sand. Do you have any ideas?

  1. Clarification needed. Are you writing or trying to understand something you read?

  2. Fresh sand is good. I think most people would get a pretty reasonable visual from that. This is kind of a cool question, I never really thought about it. The phrase itself has always been the descriptor.

    Peanut butter and honey?

    Fallen leaves?

    Grass in autumn?

    Fresh brewed tea?

    New baked bread?

    Buckskin?

    A fawn?

The petal of a fading white rose?

I think that's all I have for the moment. I might be back though, who knows?

  3. Besides olives?

I'd skip the sand reference as sand comes in as many variations as peoples.  You could try amber and then ignore that amber is varied as well. Tawny? the color of dried and spilt coffee? Old formica? Like the teeth of a three pack a day smoker?
