The former Germany goalkeeper has showered praise on the Bayern Munich shot stopper and tips Die Mannschaft to win this year’s European Championship.

Kahn admitted that it is extremely difficult to keep the concentration going when there are only limited opportunities to save the ball in the whole game. He feels that Neuer is mentally and physically stronger and can cope with

“He's finding out how difficult it can be if you only have one or two saves to make in an entire match. You have to be 100 per cent alert and totally focused the whole time. But Neuer is a goalkeeper who could come to characterise
an era at Bayern.”
Neuer signed for Bayern last year from Schalke and has so far appeared in all the 25 league games this season. The 25-year-old still has a long way to go if he wants to be considered of the same class as was Kahn during his Bayern
days. Kahn spent 14 successful years with the Munich giants, managing 429 league appearances during the process.
On the other hand, the former Germany international believes that Die Mannschaft are certainly the favourites to win this year’s European championship in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032. He insisted that if the players continue applying themselves
in the manner they have been doing, Germany could emerge as 2012 European champions.
“The current team played fast and furious attacking football last year. They're interpreting coach Joachim Low’s system to perfection, and they've come on well both technically and tactically. If they can combine that with the
required desire and discipline, they could certainly finish as European champions.”
