Fresh from winning the accolade in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Slovenia-c3008, the U19 starlet revealed that he wants to establish himself in Atletico Madrid first team and is raring to prove himself after being promoted to train with the Capital club’s first team under the watchful gaze

Torres revealed that it was great to be introduced to the first team members, and added that he feels closer to realizing his boyhood dream after catching the attention of the coach and his supporting staff.
"After winning the European youth championship, Simeone came up to me and told me to introduce myself to the first-team," he commented while in conversation with Madrid based Spanish sports daily, AS. "I did as he said, feeling like a child again.”
"If I have done something to catch his attention then the rest is now in my hands. I hope that, one day, I can get his trust and prove that I am ready for the step up.”
Reflecting on his future, Torres revealed that he wants to cement himself as a first team regular at the Vicente Calderon. He added that he has had the option to leave the Capital club in the past for greener pastures both in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 and abroad but decided
to stick around.
Moreover, Los Rojiblancos youth academy graduate explained that he looks up to Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, and tries to model his playing style in line with the much heralded duo.
"I've had the opportunity to leave in the past, but stayed because all I want is to succeed at Atletico Madrid. The players I model myself on are Xavi and [Andres] Iniesta."
