Olivier Giroud wants Arsenal to improve in UEFA Champions League – Football News
Arsenal striker and French international, Olivier Giroud, has gone on to admit that he would love to see his side go on and perform even better in Europe this coming season.

by seven goals to nil. In fact, most people consider Arsenal’s performance in the second leg against Munich to be their best of the season.
When talking about the UEFA Champions League, Giroud is quoted to have said, “It's 16 years in a row we've succeeded to qualify for the Champions League. We knew it was really important. For me it will be the
second season in the Champions League.”
"When you play in the Champions League, you always improve yourself and it's better for competition.”
"We are competitors and want to play in the top games. I really enjoy playing against big clubs like Bayern Munich. I would like to go further next year."
This season, Arsenal had to wait all the way until the last day of the season to ensure their qualification into the Champions League. They took on Newcastle United, with only a win set to ensure their stay in

Giroud sat out most of the game against Newcastle but managed to come on in the latter stages of the second half. He held the ball up enough to help the time run out and ensured that his team picked up all three
points.
Nonetheless, the forward is well aware of the fact that this season was fairly average by his standards. If he wishes to see his side do better in Europe, then he is going to have to improve his personal level
of performances as well. Should that happen, the Gunners might just go on and make it all the way to the finals next season.
