okay ill try to be as simple as possible.

if you want to represent the USA in the Olympics

and you are from a different country and an American citizen

ca you still represent the USA or not since your not born in the states?

Example: I'm from Denmark and i move to america and become an american citizen; can i represent the USA or i have to represent Denmark?

  1. I agree with the other two questions.  Also some Americans represent other countries.  But you might have to be a US citizen  for a certain time. Well if you try to rep. the US, good luck. and if you make it i hope you win a gold medal, or maybe a few!    


  2. Well Nastia Liukin was born in Moscow, came here when she was young and just won medals for the US so I'm assuming yes.

  3. You can represent the US if your a US citizen.
