If one synchronised swimmer drowns, do all the rest have to drown too?

no they would stop the contest to save her. safety is first at the Olympics. then im sure they would give that team another chance after they are all done.

I would hope so, if I was one and I drowned I would expect the rest to follow suit or we would have no chance of a medal !
