Olympic Volleyball - What's with the player who wears the odd color..?

What is that position called and are they limited in what they can do..?

they are called libero they are limited in what they do, they are restricted to the back three positions they are defensive players, divers etc and they are not allowed to serve, spike, set etc hence the smallness in size.

opps yeh sorry dig is the word I was looking for not diver lol....

That's the libero.. They can only play in the backrow and mostly substitute the middles when they're in the back-row.. They can't serve through.

It's called a libero. They are a defensive specialist so basically what they do is dig hits etc. and they can't go in the front row, they must stay in the back
