Olympic Weight lifting..who was the guy that couldnt?

lift his weights..his hand (the right one I think) kept slipping off the bar..each and everytime he tried lifting it. He walked off absolutely shattered :( he was a dark guy, but I dont know from where. I saw the clip on yahoo news last week and havent been able to find it since? Can anyone help plz?

  1. from articles and reports he had an injured thumb that would be unbearably painful to lift the weights if he didn't had any sort of painkillers...but having painkillers would've needed time and not as effective...so he had an injection in his thumb prior to lifting to numb the thumb...but the thumb was so numb that he lost feeling and control in it that prevented it from gipping properly...this is just what i read and not my thoughts

    he must have had some kind of thumb injury making it agony to try and pull with a hook grip
