  1. Every 4 years there comes an epiphany to millions of young people that they have a chance to compete for their country in the Olympics.  Is it possible that you could compete?  Sure.  Is it a probablility that you will do what needs to be done to accomplish this lofty goal......Statistically your chances are poor.  Unless you are steadfast in your desire and do the ritual of proper training you will have to be content with dreaming about Olympic glory.

  2. Just give it up already! God! Before you even think about running at all try learning how to type!

  3. The athletes in today's Olympics did not have a chance at being Olympians when they were your age.

No one knows who is going to be an elite athlete when they are older.

Many young stars never progress and fall behind when they are older.

The idea is to improve and do your best.

Enjoy what you are doing, because the odds are you will not be in the Olympics.

There are very few people out of the millions who have an Olympic dream that can fullfil it.

We can't tell you if you have a chance or not, no one can.

Set your goals and aim for them, don't quit, your life will be better whether you reach all of the goals or not.

  4. Just remember that you can do anything you put your mind to --as long as you are not mentally retarded,
