Olympic in Beijing (advantages and disadvantages)

what the advantages and the disadvantages for BEIJING?

Tourist money and commercial sponsorships are some advantages. Americans acting and behaving like Americans could be a disadvantage.

Advantages.

Shows that China is slowly developing and changing.

Good for the pyshic of the Chinese people.

Disadvantages.

To many extra regulations have mess it up for local people and in some way mess it up for people in general (visa regs).

Money could have been invested in better hospitals, schools, social welfare, law/land reform.

i didn't quite get u,u mean beijing hosting the game or being benefit from it?

if u mean beijing hosting it,as the political and economic center as well as the cultural center,beijing is the prior choice in china to host it,if there is some drawbacks,that would be it's traffic and environment

if u mean beijing being benefit from hosting it,beijing would boost tourism and gain more reputation,the disvantage would be the unstable economic condition after the game

What they didn't tell you were that Tibetan slaves were used to build these 'iconic' buildings. Do not forget that China murdered over a hundred thousand tibetans in the lead up to the Olympics, while they were doing peaceful protests.

Everything in China are financed from money they stole from Tibetans, built by Tibetan slaves, and powered by coal that was dug out by Tibetan child slaves. Good job China!
