Olympic opening ceremony?

If you saw the olympic opening ceremony, it has emrged taht certain parts were faked. It has emerged that the fireworks at the beginning of the ceremony that happened across the city fo beijing towards the stadium, kind of like footprints/steps. It has emrged they were actually fake. Also, the little girl that was singing, before the national anthem. It has emreged that the little girl, was not singing, and instead she was lip reading.

The broadcast I saw reported that the footsteps were in fact a "special effect", not actual fireworks. And if the little girl's voice was dubbed by another's so what?

Yes,I knew about the giant footprints a couple of days ago and read about the little girl who mimed to the opening song.It doesn't surprise me in the least.What does surprise me,is that there have not been more lies .I heard on the news just now that three security guards have been stabbed to death and according to the Chinese authorities,it was by muslim seperatists.

Edit.........To all those who say "so what".People paid a lot of money to see that opening ceremony and as it was only able to be seen on T.V,they were cheated.The Chinese wanted perfection and they achieved something near it by deception.They are LIARS.They lied about not helping North Korea and Burma.They lied that no one was killed in Tianamen Square in 1989 they lie about anything to make themselves look good to the rest of the world.

1. Do you know Pavarotti lip-synched his performance at the opening ceremony of the Turin Winter Olympic Games in 2006?  It was later revealed by Leone Magiera, who worked with Pavarotti for years, a recently published book. (Souces see below)

It is not "emerged", the Chinese organizer told the truth immediately after the ceremony, for the organizer felt the background girl deserved the credit.  

See what the Chinese got for being honest? Maybe the Chinese organizer should hold the truth back and reveal it later like the Italian did.

2. Fake Fireworks? Let's get it straight here: 28 of the 29 gigantic firework footprints had been pre-recorded and worked on, but the 29 firework footprints were Really & Live lit and displayed at night on 8.8.2008 in Beijng.

Attached sources you'd find a video filmed by an amateur camera, in which you can  hear loud cheers from the spectators and see the firework footprints lit up the night sky of Beijing.

BTW, ever heard of the fire in the NBC studio fireplace during the 2002 Salt Lake Games? NBC also has augmented its Olympic coverage in the past to set the right mood.  (Sources see below)

Why would it become such a heck when NBC had already set an example before Beijing Olympic organizers? Let's not be a hypocrite!

Missed it. heard it was spectacular. Would love to watch the rerun. I don't care how "spectacular" was achieved. We live in a world where technology allows us to create fantasies. What exactly is supposed to be the problem with it?
