  1. Simple, my friend. Get a track and field coach, a good track and field coach, train well and hard, and one day you will be in the Olympics.

    Good luck

  2.   Well, If your interested in doing track and field you have to be fast. You also have to be 16 years or older in order to compete in the Olympics. You should have a minimum of four years of doing this sport.

  3. you have to join big track meets like State meets, then move up to nationals, and you have to get noticed by people and scouts. eventually you will be invited to the Olympic trials and the top people will represent the country.

  4. In the United States, trials are held for all track and field events and the top three finishers in each go on to represent USA at the Olympics. There are also minimal Olympic qualifying standards that must be met. For the 100m and 400m the 4th place finisher also gets a spot to compete on the 4x1and 4x4 respectively. Join your school track team or a club if you're out of school and give it your best shot. Take note of the times that the athletes in Beijing are running though.
