  1. they probably won't be able to prove it because they claim that the documents provided were legit...who knows if they really are though? But in any case, they probably don't even want to prove it just so they can keep everything good politically. The only problem is that these organizations assume that the world's population is completely dumb and will believe anything they are told. While this certainly includes a large portion of the world, it doesn't include everyone, especially the very skeptical Western media.

To the person above who said that nobody would care about this if China hadn't won gold is right. People probably wouldn't care, it wouldn't be such an issue. But the fact of the matter is, they DID win gold. They won medals. And its possible that they won them because they cheated. If they didn't win, then duh, everyone would say, hey that's what they deserve. But when a country cheats in a way that influences who wins the very top spots, then yes, it should definitely be an issue. And so yes, it does matter.

  2. What news have you been watching? They HAVEN'T found out yet.

  3. The China printed up fake records so they could cheat and get away with it. The Chinese government can do whatever they want. I read the newspaper articles about Kexin He this year and last year that list her as 13 and 14 because I remember thinking "She's great." But they're all cheaters and have lost my respect now. It's a shame they had to cheat. The Olympics are supposed to promote sportsmanship and sportsmanship is not cheating and lying through your teeth. The newspapers published countless articles on He's age before she was chosen for the Olympics. I saw Liu Peng introduce her as 13 in 2007 in Wuhan. She is underage. When they didn't know she would go to the Olympics, she's 13/14. When they knew she would go, now she's 16 all of a sudden. The evidence is staring you in the face. Kexin never disputed her age during 2007 in the countless times she was referred to as 13/14. Suspicious, much? If you were 15/16 and you were getting publicity for gymnastics, wouldn't you correct your age from 13/14 to 15/16 before you went to the Olympics? Like the first time they ever got it wrong? The newspapers didn't pull that age out of a hat. She was 13/14.

  4. How did they find out, these are Chinese here, they aren't stupid, if they are going to cover that up, ti's going to be in gold medal fashion.

  5. I dont really care

If China didnt get gold I bet nobody would care too

They used to send 14 years old all the time

And now they look like hypocrites

  6. They haven't released the final decision, but they have to prove definitively that the gymnast was underage. yes, there are reports online that show her age as 14, but China and her family have produced birth certificates and family documents that show her as 16, so they probably won't be able to prove without a doubt that she is underage.
