Let me say FIRST that I AM Canadian ! NOT bashing Canada

How special is it that Canada's FIRST medal was won by a Chinese girl? You gotta love it !! Way to go Canada, kudos to our Chinese wrestler ! Lovely for Canada and China - a great moment in Chinese Olympic sports dont you agree?

I was so happy to see that, it represents the friendship and respect between Cdns and Chinese people so beautifully - yes?

I had never been so proud of being a Chinese when I saw the flag raising at the opening ceremony.

Yes, Canada and China have something in common: they both promote brutally killing and skinning animals alive for their fur. Seals, cats, rabbits, dogs, whatever. I am sorry, I know you meant no harm, but when I hear those countries' names and even more so together, that's what comes to mind. Which is what Canadians and Chinese must push to stop if they don't want their countries to bring this to the mind of other people.

If by sensational media lies you imply the US, I am not from the US, and I am very educated in many places of the world, in fact. And no, China's population is not educated to a large percentage. As for my info on animal and human rights abuse it doesn't come from media but from responsible organisations even in the above countries, and videos I have seen with my own eyes.

Yes. I think the olymplic is very special.

For this time, being held in China, is given china a chance to see the world, to know why environmental pollution is important, why sport is important, why the spirit of olympic is important, why being fair - equal - honest is important.

On the other hand, also let others to see China too. So, that less people will pointing to a TV and tell a Chinese student that : "this is a te-le-vi-sion". ( It happened here in NZ).

Yes Chinese and Canada work together best...most chinese go to canada instead of the US because some can't get in. Chinese people rock!!! (im chinese) i wouldn't listen to the first girl....we don't skin animals for their fur.
