Don't you think they could run a little faster and jump higher without neclaces earings etc.... I would think the lighter the better. I'm not saying it would help a lot but a couple of hundreths could help you win...

  1. I've always thought this myself

  2. lol i thought of this too when i was watching badminton

they had rings and watches on

why would an athelete wear stuff like that while playing the sport

  3. Defnitely!

I do not understand while anyone would like to show their jewelery.

A simple earring was understandable, but gold necklace, wacth and a few rings in the final of the badminton event?

Do u think Phelps need to put on the watch to break the world record?

  4. I agree. I saw some of the marathon runners with necklaces smacking them in the face! That would be very annoying, even if you wear it for good luck! I saw one runner carry it in her mouth so it would stop hitting her!

Know how to dive? >>answer please!! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  5. I always run faster with bling.

  6. I highly doubt it really makes that big of a difference...look at all of the sprinters...the vast majority of them wear necklaces. It's often a good luck or tradition thing. Since so much of competing is confidence, if indulging in a ritual gives them confidence then it can only help at that point.
