Olympics beach volleyball: why are the women nearly naked in bikini's yet the men in long shorts and shirts?

Has anyone else noticed that and thought that it was sexist? Why aren't the women wearing more clothes, or ok fine, put the men in speedos and no shirts - but why is it not even? It's kinda making me mad.

It's the usual exploitation of the female body. I've been angry about it for years and years!

Casue women are s**y and no one wants to see men naked well not me. maybe you girls but its not fair on us men to see another man almost naked

women were made to be naked

men were made to wear clothes in sports

The men need to wear their shirts because it is part of the olympic uniform.  They need a place to have their name and number even though there are just 2 of them.  I play some beach volleyball and most tournaments are like that but some do not require shirts for the male players.

It makes me mad because I can hardly see those gorgeous bodies!!! :D

A total double standard. If guys can get a little eye candy at volleyball games then women should too! ;)

well if im not mistaken i thought the guys were shirtless, at least in competitions out of the olympics, but i guess theres a code to have some kind of upper clothing. meanwhile the code should affect the womens considering it has an upper and lower pieces of clothing.
