  1. There's always a bias towards the host country  it's pretty well acknowledged ...as far as drugs go...yeah for sure there are current;ly undetectable performance enhancing drugs beiung used...which they may find in years to come when detection technology catches up....that's why they have frozen samples from all  winners.

Off course nothing prevents out of competition cheeting by 'beefing-up' with drugs....out of competition testing is the responsibiloity of the performers own country authority...so you could just imagine how rigid thats going to be in China and other countries where the governemnt will have a win at all cost attitude.

  2. You sir are a r****d.

  3. It could be but in most of the sports its hard to control the outcome. Gymnastics if they chose one team to win and someone really sucked but they won anyway there would be too much evidence. My vote is no, but some of the outcomes do seem unfair.

  4. Why the h**l would Australia have more than China anyway?  But other than that, why don't you actually look at where those golds are in.  And then look at how things are done in China.  I don't see a whole lot of surprises there.

  5. China has been the heavy favorites to win the most gold medals in Beijing 2008 from day one, and are still heavy 2-5 favorites to win the most gold medals.  They had the 3rd most gold medals in Sydney 2000, and 2nd most in Athens 2004 only to the U.S. by a count of 35-32.

Chinese archer Zhang Juan Juan created a huge upset yesterday by winning the women's individual archery event as a 27th seed by overcoming the record holder and the defending champion.  Archery is neither a heavily judged event, nor does it help to use drugs to performance better.

I don't want to bring up the subject of drugs, but if anything, the U.S. is subject to first attack due to the Sydney 2000 allegations.  I think they're clean so far, but there's no reason to try to accuse China of anything drugs related.  No need to be jealous just because not everything goes your way, just enjoy the Olympic Games.

  6. Hey genius.  Yes, you.

It's not cheating.  It's called "THE UNITED STATES HAS THE BEST ATHLETES IN THE WORLD.  WE TRAIN HARDER AND LONGER THAN ANYONE ELSE."

plus, Australia is full of crocodile hunters who get killed by freakin stingrays :p

  7. actually I think that the medals should be weighted by population of a country. Then it would be an even playing field. A country with a small population might find themselves with 5 points for a gold medal while china receives 1 point.

  8. your an idiot.

  9. I think the wording of this person has been misconstrued. Take the "Rigged" out and he may have a fair question. How long did it take the famous American women sprinter to admit to steroids 8 or something years, there is drugs in Olympic sports that is fact.

Not everyone is in involved but whatever they are doing to detect and catch these "idiots" it may not be good enough as it seems that some are ahead of the game......I fear they will never catch up.

  10. rigged....eh but there is a huge amount of bias towards the chinese... i find it funny that the announcers disagree alot with the scores

  11. Yes, they rigged the order of events so that all the sports that china are good at are in the first week. Don't worry the track cycling starts today. A sport that Oz is good at so things might change.......

  12. You are a d*ckhead.

  13. just an idiot.. go read a book
