Olympics vs AFL?

Whos going to watch the AFL while the olympics is on? im into Athletics but id rather watch the AFL over olympics anyday.

im also into athletics, and other sports but im a mad AFL supporter, and would much rather watch a footy game then most of the olympics..allthough its depends on what games i guess like a real boring game i would probably watch the olympics instead

I'll find a way to watch both! The AFL is only going to be on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays anyway. I would rather watch some footy if I was forced to choose though...

that's going to be tough this year. with all the different competitions and all and the afl...........it cracks me up summer olympics and it's winter down there for you guy's sounds confusing or unless your used to it................

AFL for sure! Olympics are too slow for me, the opening and closing ceremonies are OK, but I'd prefer to watch my team play footy!

The Olympics any day.

AFL is trifling compared to the Olympic Games & the ratings will prove that.Only the uneducated will be watching the AFL if a game is on at the same time as Olympic events.

AFL for sure, The Olympics are great but Footy is Better. They will probably be played live at different times though.

I only watch certain things in Olymics, such as Hockey & the Marathon etc. But I don't watch much AFL either, just the Swans sometimes.Mostly i'm out when AFL is on.

The Olympics anyday.

But I will probably be watching the NRL and the Tri Nations Rugby.

I love international competition.  I guess AFL people don't know what that is.

i'm into all kinds of sports, if afl was a world sport i'd watch all of the games i could lol.

i'll watch both the olympics, basketball if its on becuase its my favourite sport.

i'll watch both. when theres no footy, ill watch the olympics. if the crows are playing, or 2 top sides, then i'll watch the AFL. i wont choose 1 or the other

I would way rather AFL. I would rather AFL because it is way more interesting and also I would way rather watch Collingwood play. Especially Dale Thomas.

i will watch 2 flies going up a wall, if its the tigers i will watch the footy, any way the Olympics will have update shows, we will see some one 15 times winning the same gold medal in the space of a couple of hrs, so we won't miss any thing.

the DVD recorder, plus the two VCR recorders might get a bit of a flogging, i think.

Some of the olympics (track & field, swimming) are excellent but other parts are boring (yacht racing, shooting).

We are on similar Time Zones with China so I wonder if Channel 7 will screen the Olympics over AFL games

If they do....I will happily chose Channel 10 and Foxtel over Channel 7

AFL hands down.  Watching the olympics is a time filler when you're bored.  You actually make time to watch AFL

I enjoy my AFL,BUT I love the Olympics any day...I love my sport and the Olympics only happens every four years.

I would rather watch my footy team (despite them being poor at the mo) but then I would rather watch the Olympics every other minute. I guess the Olympics wins over in appeal because it's exclusively every four years and there is such an enormous build up, as well as the high calibre of competitors - these are the best in the world at their sport!

Hey... maybe we should vie for a couple of Aussie Rules teams in the Olympics... Aus could take on PNG or the soldiers serving in Iraq... I know I know... stupid idea...!

The Olympic games will be pretty good, but the footy is a lot more energetic and competitive.

I will watch some parts of the Olympics, but with Hawthorn looking like they will play in the finals series, I'm going to be watching the AFL as per usual.
