You can have great athletes that come from war torn, poverty stricken countries.

Just look at Ethiopia and Kenya.

Most developed countries will obviously select athletes based on talent not color.

The USA clearly has the most diverse athletes.  African-American, Mexican-American, white, Latin-American, Indian-American, Chinese_American coaches, Romanian-American coaches and the list goes on.  

Thats the genius of the US, diversity.  Equal rights and opportunity for everyone.

Better in Law and Politics: Hmm... India is praised for its good laws (but infrastructure holds it back)

Less Racist: All non-European nations.

Quality Players: Same as the first: USA, China, Australia, South Korea, Russia, Japan....
