While his contract expires in five months, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 midfielder Ederson continues to attract many clubs especially as his price continues to drop. Les Gones are looking to sell a player this January and the Brazilian could be on the move
“My agent is discussing with the club to try and reach an agreement. Let’s see if Lyon really want me. As I said, I want to stay, I feel good at OL,” were the words of Ederson while talking to reporters regarding his future at the club.
The Brazilian midfielder’s contract at Stade de Gerland is set to expire by the end of the current campaign and so far, there are no signs of the 25-year-old getting a contract extension. Furthermore, the midfielder is attracting a lot of attention from
a host of European clubs which means that Ederson won’t be having any problems in finding a new club when his contract expires.
However, Les Gones are keen on not seeing the back of the Brazilian midfielder for free and would be willing to cash in on the player this January if contract negotiations don’t come up with a favourable outcome.
Ederson is currently attracting considerable interest from the likes of Sporting CP, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Flamengo-c39361.
However, it now appears that the Brazilian has yet again found another admirer. Spanish La Liga side Malaga are keen on signing the former OGC Nice man according to Aujourd’h*i en http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899. The main thorn in the Spaniard’s way is Lyon’s asking price for the
Brazilian.
Reports claim that Lyon want to sell the player for 1 million Euros which is certainly too much for a player whose contract is set to expire shortly. Furthermore, Ederson missed almost whole of the 2010/2011 campaign due to injury which means that the Iberian
club are not going to risk splashing 1 million Euros.
However, with the vast riches at hand, the Spaniards could take a gamble but it still remains to be seen whether the Brazilian would be excited by the prospect of playing in a team that’s currently in 16th place in the La Liga standings.
Since joining Les Gones from OGC Nice in 2008, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ederson-c11880 has scored 11 goals in 73 games for the Rhone giants but his chances of becoming a regular seem thin given the midfield depth available to coach Remi Garde.
