A few days back, reports in France suggested that Olympique de Marseille were in pole position to sign the 21-year-old. However, all this changed when Lyon also indicated of their desire to sign the player. Reports suggest that Les Gones have also made contact
with the player’s agent.
Newspapers in France had earlier suggested that Olympique Marseille and Monaco were in negotiations of a deal with the player. Les Phoceens wanted to bring down Monaco’s asking price which is 4 million Euros. This gave Lyon a chance to hijack Marseille’s
deal and Les Gones are now looking to grab the opportunity by both hands.
