Olympique Lyonnais coach Remi Garde interested in Real Madrid defender Ezequiel Garay – Ligue 1 news

the La Liga giants.
The 24-year-old defender is also keen on moving away from Santiago Bernabeu after he made just five league appearances for Real Madrid in the now-concluder 2010/2011 La Liga season. The player’s agent also admits that Garay wants to leave the Spanish giants
as he does not feel he will get a lot of regular opportunities at the club next season. While talking to reporters, Garay’s agent said, “Garay wants to leave. He wants to play for Argentina and the national coach has asked him to find a club where he can play
more,” before revealing that Garay is impressed by Lyon.
The Rosario-born youngster is going to play in the Copa http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 this July and is expected to make a final decision about his future after the end of the tournament. Furthermore, Remi Garde has also made it his priority to sign the former Newell’s
Old Boys player. Remi Garde has been personally monitoring Garay’s progress since his introduction to European football in 2005.

his development came to a halt during his time with Los Blancos. So far, Ezequiel Garay has made just 25 appearances for Madrid and was the fourth choice defender in Jose Mourinho’s first season at Real Madrid.
The Portuguese tactician has not really showed a lot of faith in the Argentine’s qualities and the youngster is keen to move away from the club. If a move to Lyon does materialise, it might be a great bargain for a club that had a lot of defensive problems
throughout the 2010/2011 Ligue 1 season.
