The Ligue 1 outfit is bracing for the likely departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-Bastos-c25461 and has identified Paris Saint-Germain’s goal scoring machine as the player who can replace the wantaway winger
Les Gones are keeping tabs on several PSG players as they seek to strengthen their ranks ahead of the new season. Defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mamadou-Sakho-c23293 and midfielder Clement Chantome have been on Lyon’s radar for some time and now the club has shown an interest in Les
Parisiens' striker Nene.
Paris Saint-Germain have invested heavily in the transfer market this summer. The capital club has acquired the services of some high profile players, including http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029.
The arrival of new players is a worrying factor for the old guard, who feel that their playing time will be reduced next season. One such player is Nene, who is expected to lose his place in the starting line-up to latest acquisitions, Zlatan Ibrahimovic
or Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Paris Saint-Germain’s spending spree is far from over and the 31-year-old may well find himself surplus to requirements at Parc des Princes. Les Parisiens are believed to be ready to part ways with the former Monaco man and want 7 million Euros for the player.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 can surely match PSG’s 7 million Euros asking price. Splashing 7 million Euros on a player, who netted 21 goals in the Ligue 1 last season, would not be a bad business for Les Gones. However, that depends on the departure of Michel Bastos
from Stade de Gerland.
Club president, Jean-Michel Aulas, criticised Bastos last month, stating that the player did not give his best for the team last season and OL will consider selling the winger if a club meets their asking price.
Bastos has repeatedly expressed his desire to leave the Ligue 1 outfit before the start of the next season. Lyon are expecting 10 million Euros from the sale, that would put them in a strong position to meet PSG’s asking price for Nene.
Nene was the most consistent performer for the capital club last season. The Brazilian managed to make 47 appearances for Les Parisiens in all competitions last season, scoring 27 goals in the process. Lyon would be more than delighted to secure the signature
of a player, who can help them in their quest for titles.
