Olympique Lyonnais keeping tabs on Vagner Love of CSKA Moscow – Ligue 1 news
Reports in French media suggest that Ligue 1 giants http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 are seriously considering making a bid for Brazilian striker Vagner Love in the winter transfer window.
The Brazilian striker is currently on the books of Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow and it seems that Les Gones are keen on landing the striker who has been at the Russian capital club for nearly seven years. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Palmeiras-c40165 man has also expressed
his desire of change of scenery and could be on the move this winter with Lyon the most likely destination.
While talking to the media, the 27-year-old said, “It’s been seven years since I’ve been at CSKA and I want to win titles. I want to win the Champions League but with CSKA, this might be complicated even though it’s a good team.”
Reports suggest that the striker is already under the radar of Turkish giants Galatasaray, Portuguese champions http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Flamengo-c39361. However, a move to a big European club this winter might not be an ideal one as
the Brazilian will not be eligible to play in European competitions after featuring for Moscow in the Champions League.
However, Love’s agent, Mr. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vagner-c35793 is waiting to be sold in the next transfer window. He has already talked about this to the president (of CSKA). He has no favourite
destination, even a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 is possible,” said the agent before admitting that a Brazilian club has not yet made a concrete proposal.
Paris Saint-Germain were also in the hunt for the prolific striker last summer but a move failed to materialise. However, it now appears that Olympique Lyonnais are willing to spend some money for a striker after Remi Garde did not spend much in the summer
transfer window.
Reports suggest that Olympique Lyonnais will have to play in excess of 10 million Euros for the services of the player which might be too much to afford for a club that is cutting down on expenses these days.
