Reports in French media suggest that Olympique Lyonnais have just received an offer of 9.2 million Euros for the services of youngster Clement Grenier.
The 20-year-old midfielder has made four appearances in the league for Les Gones. Slotting in the midfield alongside Maxime Gonalons, the young midfielder is becoming more and more involved in Remi Garde’s setup.
Last season, the youngster managed to make just four appearances for Lyon under Claude Puel but he is now becoming indispensable for Remi Garde since the start of the new campaign. The youngster has already been touted for a long and distinguished career.
It now appears that his progress has already been noticed by many clubs and Lyon have received a good offer for his services. La Liga giants Real Madrid are hotly linked with the talented midfielder. Zinedine Zidane, the Director of Football at the Madrid-based
club, is already impressed by  what the youngster has so far shown in his recent displays and is ready to bring him to the Santiago Bernabéu.
English Premier League giants http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are also interested in the youngster and according to the Daily Express, the London-based club is preparing an offer of 9.2 million Euros for the Lyon academy player.
However, it seems that Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is in no way looking to let go of a young player who has only come into the fray this season. Furthermore, the club’s new policy of looking up to the academy players means that letting the youngster
leave Stade de Gerland would be a very hard task.
Under the tutelage of Remi Garde, Grenier has flourished along with fellow academy graduate http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Max-c24993 Gonalons which means that Garde would in no way be prepared to let go of a player who will certainly have a major part to play in Lyon’s future.
Though 9.2 million Euros is a fairly decent amount for a player who still has a lot to proof, it is unlikely that Lyon will let go of the youngster as Garde wants to keep the core of the team intact.
