Reports claim that Russian Premier League giants, Rubin Kazan are keen on signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international, Bafetimbi Gomis from the club. Le Progress claims that Kazan have made an initial proposal of 8 million Euros to Jean-Michel Aulas.
However, the Lyon supremo has deemed the offer insufficient as he wants at least 12 million euros for the experienced striker. The 26-year-old signed for Lyon from bitter rivals AS Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2009 for 13 million euros (plus 2 million
in bonuses).
Though Lyon have never really shown inclination on selling the player, what happened a few months back could change all that. The future of Gomis has come under much speculation after the player was involved in a s*x scandal.
Lyon were not impressed by what Gomis did and could consider selling the player despite Gomis’ desire to continue his adventure under Remi Garde.

However, 12 million euros is a lot of money for Lyon these days and if Rubin Kazan are able to meet the financial requirements, Les Gones will have enough cash to buy a new striker who can share the goalscoring burden with Lisandro Lopez next season.
