However, back in France, Ayew’s club, Olympique de Marseille have started showing signs of how much they miss their young winger. In their last Ligue 1 game, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 at the Stade Velodrome.
The game should have been done and dusted before the second half even began. Les Phoceens lead 2-0 initially but Les Gones mounted a great comeback to share the spoils.
Ayew says that he watched the game and was disappointed because he felt that his team should have won the game. However, Ayew said that he always has Olympique de Marseille in his heart and he will be back at his best when he returns to the Provence of Rhone.
Ayew also thanked coach Didier Deschamps for understanding his emotions to play for his national side.
“the coach always wants to be fully staffed. But he was a player and knows that CAN is very important to us. If it had been up to me, I would have played that game (against Lyon). In both cases, we are here to win titles.”
Ayew is certainly in the form of his life and if he returns to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 as an African Champion, Marseille may well have a greater use for him in order to qualify for the revered Champions League berth.
