Olympique de Marseille have been tracking Niklas Hult for some time now and according to reports, Les Phoceens are ready make a move for the 22-year old
According to the French media, Olympique de Marseille are ready to open their chequebook for one of Sweden’s most talented young player, Niklas Hult.
The 22-year-old has made a thunderous start to the season. The attacking midfielder has scored 2 goals and has also provided several assists in just eleven appearances.
Olympique de Marseille endured a woeful 2011/2012 season and are in dire need of reinforcements. Les Phoceens have identified Niklas Hult as the player who can turn things around. The young Swedish has also represented his country on one occasion and great
things are expected from the midfielder in future.
To the delight of Marseille, Niklas Hult has expressed his desire to play in a more competitive league, thus paving way for Les Phoceens to start working out on a possible transfer for the talented player.
While talking to reporters, the young Swedish voiced his desire to play for a European club in order to become a better player.
"I do not think about it (possible transfer) all the time. But it is my childhood dream to play abroad. This is a step that every footballer wants to take.”
The player has a firm belief in his own capabilities and vows to become a top player in coming years.
“If a top club comes for me then it will be hard to say no. As far as my inexperience is concerned, I am not so worried about that. I can surely overcome that in short time as I love to play a leading role wherever I play”
A close source of the player had claimed that the Elfsborg man views France as an attractive option as he likes French style of game.
