This summer, Marseille have already made it clear that they would be looking to recruit new defenders after a lot of defensive frailties were even in Marseille’s defence in the 2010/2011 Ligue 1 season. Reports in French media now suggest that Didier Deschamps
is now looking to bring in Cameroon international Nicolas N’Koulou to the Stade Velodrome. The 21-year-old defender is currently playing with AS Monaco. However, the youngster is reportedly keen on making a move away from the club following the relegation
of Les Rouge et Blanc to Ligue 2 after a dreadful 2010/2011 Ligue 1 campaign.

play as a left-back which means that he can take the place of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-Heinze-c14310.
N’Koulou would perfectly fit in the Marseille squad because of his versatility. Since making his debut for AS Monaco in 2008, the young defender has become an important part of AS Monaco and has made over 78 appearances for the Monegasque club. The youngster
is also a full international for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cameroon-c2865 and has made 27 official appearances for Les Lions Indomptables.
A fee in the region of 5 million Euros is believed to be enough to sign the player and Marseille should do well to sign the talented defender before any other side takes initiative.
