Desperate to slash down the wage bill, the Rhone giants are keen on selling a few stars this summer before they make moves for long-term targets
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mendes-c25206 this summer and have made no secret of their interest in the trio. For Les Phoceens, despite so many issues, possibilities for a good transfer window exist.
However, the club is unable to match the likes of Lille, Montpellier and PSG due to its financial constraints. So far, the club’s only signing has been Florian Raspentino who joined the club for free after his contract at FC Nantes expired.
For other targets, Les Phoceens need to pour some money in their coffers. However, it still remains to be seen how the Rhone club will be able to do that. Initially, Marseille’s hopes banked on the departure of Loic Remy.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and a departure from the Velodrome promised the Rhone giants a lot of money. However, the latest statements given by the 25-year-old plus a managerial change at Tottenham has changed the picture and a
departure from the Canebiere seems far from a sure shot thing.
However, Remy is not the only player who can give the club a lot of output. Spanish right-back, Cesar Azpilicueta has already expressed his desire to leave the club this summer. The youngster wants to play in a club where he can constantly stay under the
national team manager’s radar.
Reports claim that Bayern Munich, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Real Madrid all are interested in signing the youngster so Marseille may consider selling a player whose future seems fairly brighter than most.
Another player who could command a good transfer fee is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cameroon-c2865 international Stephane M’Bia. After three seasons at the Velodrome, the 26-year-old is ready for a new challenge in his career and could be sold if a good offer is made.
However, the defender/defensive midfielder’s last season was blighted with injury problems and many clubs might find his injury record a turn off. However, 10 million euros would be enough to sign the experienced player so Marseille still have a chance of
freeing up some cash.
