of Betis’ promotion to the La Liga is now being linked with a move to Rhone-based Olympique de Marseille, a club that has been monitoring Emana’s progress at the Spanish club for a long time.
However, it has been reported that Marseille would face stiff competition if they are to sign the attacking midfielder. Rumours suggest that English Premier League sides, Everton, Tottenham, Birmingham and Wigan Athletic are also looking to make a move for
the coveted player. Furthermore, newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions, LOSC Lille, are also looking to bring the player to Stade Metropole. According to Spanish media, Turkish giants Galatasaray have also contacted the Spanish side regarding the availability of
Emana.
However, it has been suggested that Emana would only go for a club where he is able to play in European competitions. Marseille have automatically qualified for the 2011/12 edition of the UEFA Champions League and could lure in the Cameroonian international.
