Botia is more inclined towards staying in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 which slightly makes Marseille’s case week.
However, the youngster has a release clause of 20 million Euros but would not be too expensive for Marseille.
Besides an affordable salary (Euros 600,000/year), the Spaniard’s price could reduce as he has not many years left on his contract.
Before selling the player to Sporting, Barcelona as usual, included a clause on Botia’s contract that will allow the Catalans to sign him for the next three years.
Next summer, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 will have the final opportunity to get the youngster back to the Camp Nou for just 2.5 million Euros which is the exact amount that Atletico Madrid might make for him.
Since joining Gijon from Barcelona (permanently) in 2010, Botia has made 52 La Liga appearances for the Asturian club.
The youngster has proven to be a solid centre-back for Gijon despite their current standing in the league table.
Marseille on the other hand, would find it hard to sign the Spaniard as the youngster might have reservations about playing for a club that might not offer him European football next season.
