According to Le Provence, Ligue 1 giants, Olympique de Marseille are keeping a close eye on the progress of Cape Verde midfielder Ryan http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mendes-c25206 da Graça. The youngster is currently under contract at Ligue 2 side Le Havre where he has made a spectacular start
to the 2011/2012 Ligue 2 campaign.
The 22-year-old has scored nine goals and has provided one assist in 19 league games this season. Furthermore, he has also scored two goals in Coupe de La Ligue and three in the Coupe de France.

Reports now claim that Olympique de Marseille are keen on signing the player from the Upper Normandy club. Coach Didier Deschamps also had the chance of seeing the youngster’s exploits during his side’s Coupe de la Ligue win over Le Havre on Sunday.

Reports claim that the Normandy-based club are looking for something between 4 to 5 million Euros for the player which is certainly not a hefty price that Marseille will have to pay.
Furthermore, Les Phoceens’ financial situation means that they can’t spend a lot of money on big players so both Labrune and sporting director Jose Anigo would be looking to unearth inexpensive yet talented and promising players from the Ligue 2. Furthermore,
a move to Stade Velodrome would certainly be a big move for the Cape Verde midfielder who has been touted for a great career by many Le Havre players and former coaches.
