Not being able to be animated in the transfer market this summer, Olympique de Marseille have decided to promote a few talents from their http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787
The transfer window has begun on a silent note for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127. Though negotiations with Florian Raspentino seem to be going the on the right track, the rest seems rather vague.
So, the club’s direction has now decided to put their faith on the youngster at the club’s training centre. Les Phoceens are now looking to promote players from the youth and the reserve team. Le Provence claims that 12 youngsters have been called for training
with the senior side.
Both Vincent Labrune and Jose Anigo have revived the training policy at the club but it still remains to be seen whether Didier Deschamps will agree to it or not. However, if the Frenchman chooses to stay at Marseille for next season, he will have under
him Rafidine Abdullah (18), Aloe Baptist (17), Najib Ammari (20), Achille Marcelin Anani (17), Larry Azouni (18), Momar Bangoura (18), Oumar Diop (17), http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-c36794 Jobello (18), Billel Omrani (19) and Ibrahima Sy (17).
Obviously all these aforementioned players are unlikely to stay with Les Phoceens for the whole season. However, for some, it will be a golden opportunity to make their mark at a club that seems destined for tough times ahead.
However, playing with the senior team will give these youngsters a great chance to hone their skills and help the club move on from their recent woes.
The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Morgan-Amalfitano-c26799 are unlikely to stay at the club and the club has no financial means to buy good replacements from the transfer market.
Olympique de Marseille are looking to take a lead out of rivals Olympique Lyonnais’ book. Last season, upon his arrival, Remi Garde promoted the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-Lacazette-c4895, Maxime Gonalons, Clement Grenier and Samuel Umtiti to the senior team and all these
youngsters gave a good account of themselves.
Les Phoceens fans would be hoping that the same happens for their youth players.
