http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127’s Taye Taiwo agrees terms with AC Milan – Serie A transfer news
According to reports in the Rhone region of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nigeria-c2970 International Taye Taiwo has agreed terms with Italian giants, AC Milan, and looks set to join the club on a free transfer this summer. The Nigerian International’s contract at Marseille is set
to expire this June. Taiwo had been linked with many top European clubs throughout the 2010/11 season and the defender himself admitted that he wanted to leave France after the end of this campaign.
In the past few months, several major European clubs have been monitoring Taiwo’s contract situation at the Stade Velodrome, but AC Milan seem to have gotten closer to landing the player’s signature. The powerful left-back had earlier indicated that he was
eying a move to the Italian Serie A. Reports now suggest that the Rossoneri management has reached a contract agreement with the Nigerian that would keep him at the San Siro until June 2015.
While neither party has confirmed that an agreement has been reached, it seems very likely that Taiwo will be moving to Italy as soon as the season ends. Both Olympique de Marseille and AC Milan are competing for their respective domestic titles this season
and official transfers will not be announced until the end of the campaign.
AC Milan management has been looking for a left-back for some time now as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marek-Jankulovski-c23848 has already confirmed that he will leave San Siro at the end of the season. The Rossoneri management finally seem
to have found an answer to their defensive woes.
