Olympus Zuiko Lenses vs Pentax Lenses?

I'm currently owning a E-510 of Olympus, and i had to return it back to the store because he was habing trouble( he was switching setting alone , had trouble doing the right metering). I must now choose between, going back with a new E-510 or change to a Pentax ( K10D or K20D). I love the two bodies even with my bad experience with the E-510. My main question is about the Lenses of the two brand. I first bought Olympus for the Zuiko lenses quality. Does pentax lenses are as good? i mainly shoot with wide angle and telephoto when shooting wildlife. I was saving some money to buy either the 18-180, the 70-300 or the 50-200 of zuiko, but now that my DSLR is broken....

so what do you think? does pentax optic are as good as zuiko one? ( i know that i realy love the fact that zuiko lenses are realy smaller...but if build quality of pentax are as good as zuiko for my need... maybe...)

  1. I have collection of Pentax lenses going back over 30 years and the originals are still in regular use on my DSLRs.

Like most companies they produce lenses to a price and lenses for performance.

But even their consumer grade lenes are good and the lenses with the *  in the name are  excellent.

There are also  good ranges of lenses from Tamron, and Sigma, with the same consumer models or pro standard SP or EX models.

The range of the iconic Carl Zeiss lenses for  Pentax if you want some really top quality primes.
