Olympus om 10 problem

i have an olympus om 10 and whenever i take a picture it well doesnt take a picture hahaha. i guess what im saying is when i get the film developed all the pictures are white as though it took no pictures at all. anyone know what the problem may be or can help me in any way?

im pretty sure i put the film in correctly so i dont believe thats the problem.

  1. If the negative is all white, then no light has struck the film.

    Here's a technique that I always taught student when I was teaching 35mm slr workshops.

    1. While holding the loose end of the new film cartridge, wind the spool until you feel tension.

    2. Load the film into the back of the camera, inserting the leader fully into the takeup reel.

    3. Close the back of the camera.

    4. Wind the film advance lever and WATCH to see if the rewind k**b is rotating.  If it's not rotating, then the film's slipped off the takeup reel.

    5. If the k**b is rotating, then you're good.  If it's not, then open up the back and you'll find that the film has slipped off the takeup reel.

    If necessary, repeat the above steps.
