Olypus sp-500z Lens won't come out

Question

I read a response from you on this forum about this camera. I am having trouble with the lens not coming out after I turn the camera on. I can't take pictures with it either. I had it outside earlier taking pictures of the kids in the snow since we just got socked with a snowstorm and about 8 inches of snow. It was cold outside and I was probably only out with the camera for about 20 minutes. Can you help?
