So far in the tournament most teams have won their matches while batting second and this fixture was no different as Oman failed to defend a reasonable total against a decent side.
After winning the toss, Oman chose to bat first, and managed to get off to a decent start as openers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zeeshan-Ahmed-Siddiqui-c98579 and Rajeshkumar Ranpura gave their side an opening stand of 35 runs.
Ranpura was the first causality of the day as he fell after contributing just three runs off 15 deliveries.
A run later, his opening partner also followed his way back to the dressing room after clobbering an innings of 30 runs off 15 deliveries.
With the hard-hitting opener out of action, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Oman-c2975 lost the pace in their innings, giving Uganda bowlers an opportunity to tighten the screws around the flow of runs.
With 40 runs on the board, middle-order batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adnan-Ilyas-c42053 lost his way after scoring just two runs.

In the middle, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jatinder-Singh-c66512 played a match saving innings which was then backed in the end by an unbeaten knock by Aamir Kaleem to help the side reach a comfortable total of 128 runs as both batsmen smashed 21 runs each.
Uganda then got off to a decent start as the openers piled 25 runs before http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Arthur-Solomon-Kyobe-c45985 fell after scoring just seven runs.
Meanwhile, opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gates-c58585 of h**l on the fielding side with some stupendous batting as he clobbered an innings of 45 runs off 45 deliveries, leaving the bowling side in utter disbelief.
However, Oman turned the tables around and almost had the batting side in trouble after making a comeback in the game by grabbing important wickets.
Nonetheless, it was too little too late, as Uganda reached the required target in 19.1 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
Mukasa was named as the Player of the Match for being the most successful batsman in the contest.
